Sliced tomato on vine
Sofa mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil
Black pepper
Salt
Olive oil

Curry chicken Steam bun

What is better than home made steam bun? I will still need to perfect the dough recipe before sharing with everyone. Will keep posted.

Homemade gummy

Fun to make with little ones. Can be mold to any shape silicon mold.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup cold water
2 packages of plain gelatin
1 package of flavored jello (used raspberry)
Oil to grease mold

1. Measure water in measureing cup. Add in corn syrup. Stir until clear. Pour into a pot. Add gelatin and jello powder and srir slowly. Melt in low medium heat until it liquidify.

2. Pour into measuring cup (with spout). If foam or lump appears, pour in a tall glass and cool until top foam layer can be removed by spooning it out

3. Spray thin layer of oil to silicon mold. Pour gummy mixture into mold and refridgate to become firmer

Chocolate chip yogurt muffin

Have you tried making muffin using yogurt? It lowers oil used but still have the fluffiness of cake.

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup yogurt (low fat or others)
2 1/2 tbsp oil
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla

1. Mix top 5 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix last 4 ingredients in a separate bowl and mix together
3. Fold wet into dry. Do not overmix.
Optional: mix chocolate chips into the mix. (Or add frozen blueberries, cherries, or coconut, cranberry, etc. )
4. Bake at 350F in 6 extra large muffin tin, or bread loaf, or 8×8 cake pan. Adjust timing according to size of pan.
Good idea to start with 20min. Top should be golden brown.

Sweet potato ginger dessert soup

Classic Chinese dessert soup that give a warm filling feeling.

Ingredients:
Water
Yam (large cubes)
Ginger (sliced)
Chinese brown sugar

1. Boil everything in a pot until yam is soften. Served warm.

I’ve been trying to loose some pounds and back on fitness pal’s 1200cal meal planning. I find it absolutely helpful to replace meat protein with vegetable protein. It fills you up without accumulating too many calories.
